TTWRL - Telehealth and Technology Web Resource Locator

The National Center for Telehealth and Technology, in conjunction with the Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center, and Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury, has deployed a web resource locator to support Department of Defense and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) traumatic brain injury (TBI) case managers and care coordinators in their work with service members, veterans, and their families.

The website, called TTWRL (pronounced "twirl"), is devoted to TBI-related information and resources. TTWRL provides rapid access to military, VA and community resources to support the discharge planning and ongoing care required by service members, veterans and their families dealing with TBI and associated psychological health issues. Website searches may be filtered by treatment areas, organization and service type. The results are displayed by geographic proximity. There is also a feature to allow the user to suggest or update a resource.
