DVBIC develops practical, easy-to-use clinical tools to support military and civilian health care providers in assessing and treating service members and veterans who have sustained a TBI. Providers can access clinically-relevant information and resources that address common symptoms associated with mild TBI, such as dizziness, sleep disturbances and vision problems. DVBIC offers a variety of educational information and resources to help patients and their families learn about mild, moderate, severe or penetrating TBI. The topics covered include signs and symptoms, coping and recovery, and prevention. DVBIC has just released the 2019 Concussion Management Tool. The CMT revises and replaces the 2012 Concussion Management Algorithm and the 2014 Army Concussion Management in the Garrison Setting Algorithm.
